Welcome to the first fish market auction!

I am holding this auction in order to help my brother and his wife make rent this month. They have been in a rough spot and need help getting back on their feet.  This auction will end on the 25th this month in hopes to get the funds needed to them in time! Our goal is to raise at least $1,300 in this time. 

What are you biding for?

You are bidding for a custom made felt fish, along with the beautiful authentic glass float pictured above! This huge float is what I will be working with to make this custom. Its going to be the biggest fish I've ever made and the largest float I've worked with as well!

Custom felt fish of your choice ( This can be a singular large fish or a bundle of small fish! Real or fantasy fish welcome!)

Authentic glass fishing float 37 inches around.

Decorative hardware including a vintage pulley to hang your fish! 

A little more information 

Every custom I make will come with an old Glass Float. If you don't know much about these, here is a little blab about them! 

Glass floats were historically used for fishing, to keep nets a float. They originated from Norway in 1840 and later in Europe, Russia, North America, and Japan. Today these are no longer used by fishermen. In the 1900s these glass floats were abundant in Japan and due to the nature of the open ocean sometimes these floats would break loose from their nets. This caused them to free float the Pacific and follow its current towards the beaches of the west coasts of north America were they are commonly found!

I work with 100% Moreno wool felt, including the stuffing inside. Other details on my work can include materials such as wood, clay, beads, and more!
